Refund policy
We hope that you love your Mash + Mint products however, if you decide it's not right for you, we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, in its original manufacturer's packaging, in a resalable condition, and item(s) must not have been partially or fully assembled. You’ll also need your order number, the receipt or proof of purchase. In the case of damaged items we will require a photo image along with proof of purchase.
To start a return within 30 days, you can contact us at hello@mashandmint.co.uk. Please note that depending on the item(s) ordered we will provide you with the returns address upon notice given to Mash + Mint of a return. This will be confirmed to you via email.
If your return is accepted due to damage caused by us at Mash + Mint or our suppliers or couriers, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Change of Mind
If a return is requested due to a change of mind you will remain responsible for the returning of the products until they reach the dedicated warehouse. Please ensure using appropriate services to ensure the item(s) returned are not damaged or lost. For your own reassurance it is advised to obtain proof of delivery and using a tracked shipping service.
For small parcel items - Once a return has been accepted we will confirm the return address for the product(s) Please note £7.00 will be deducted from your refund. Or alternatively return by a postal service at your own cost. For your own reassurance it is advised to obtain proof of delivery and using a tracked shipping service.
Larger items such as furniture, Lighting, Rugs and product suchlike we will arrange collection for a fee of £35.00 which will be deducted from your refund. Once product(s) arrive at the dedicated warehouse we process your return.

Damages and Faults
If your order arrives damaged, please get in touch with us via our email hello@mashandmint.co.uk. We ask that you report damage within 48 hours where possible, with a couple of photos so we can sort it quickly. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. This is a request, not a limit on your rights: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have 30 days to reject faulty goods for a full refund. If the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item we will evaluate and action accordingly. Please keep your item with/in the original manufacturers packaging so we can return should this be required.
Should you wish for the item be returned and replaced we will organise collection free of charge. In the event of a return due to damage caused by Mash + Mint or our contractors we will refund your order in full and collect the item(s) free of charge.
Non-returnable items
The following are excluded from our standard 30-day returns: gift cards, sale items marked 'final sale', and sealed hygiene goods (mattresses, pillows, sheets and duvets) once the seal is broken. Throws, cushions and unsealed bedding can be returned unused in their original packaging. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have by following our returns process of emailing hello@mashandmint.co.uk within 30 days. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. We do not offer direct exchanges.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Cancelling an order
You may cancel your Mash + Mint order at any point prior to us delivering your item(s). Should you cancel prior to delivery you will be refunded in full. However, should you cancel after we have dispatched your item we will deduct the delivery charge as outlined above. For smaller items £7.00 delivery charge and larger items £35.00.
Amendments to orders
If you order has not yet been dispatched and you wish to add to your order please email us at hello@mashandmint.co.uk and we will do our best to add to your existing order. This may mean you will have multiple deliveries in some instances if your order has already been picked and packed.
Mash + Mint reserves the right to cancel your order under the following circumstances:
- The item is out of stock and unavailable for delivery.
- We do not offer delivery to your location.
- The product has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
- The order includes an item with a pricing or description error.
