The Alicia Placemat in Burnt Yellow is a celebration of Colombian craftsmanship, colour and storytelling. Handwoven from fine Iraca palm and finished with a delicate beaded edge, this round placemat brings warmth, texture and artistry to the table.

Designed by CasaLatina and crafted in collaboration with skilled weavers in Sandoná, Nariño, each placemat begins with natural Iraca palm fibres stained using natural dyes. The result is a richly textured base that feels both organic and refined.

The beaded border adds a striking finishing touch. Inspired by a necklace discovered by the brand’s founder in a Colombian street market, the edge echoes traditional Chaquira jewellery handwoven by Embera Indigenous women. The result is a piece that feels like jewellery for your table - expressive, meaningful and unmistakably handcrafted.
