The Island Reef Snakes & Ladders by The Island Society is a beautifully illustrated take on the traditional family board game. Made in Monmouth, Wales, this distinctive edition draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, with an ocean-blue and cream playing board decorated with shoals of fish, seaweed and little nautical anchors.

It's a familiar game with some rather lovely details. The six playing counters are individually handmade from Jesmonite in different colours, giving each piece a tactile, stone-like finish. A marbled dice completes the set, while a navy linen drawstring bag keeps the playing pieces safely together between games.

Designed for two to six players aged five and over, this handmade Snakes and Ladders game is a wonderful way for children, parents and grandparents to enjoy time around the table.
