Materials & Construction

Made from durable recycled PET fibres with an anti-slip rubber backing, the WaterHog Argyle Doormat is designed for everyday use in busy households.

Its distinctive bi-level construction features raised fibres that scrape dirt from footwear, allowing debris and moisture to settle below the surface.

The rubber backing helps prevent movement while protecting the floor beneath.

Suitable for most common flooring types, including tiles, hardwood, laminate, cork, screed, low-pile carpet and underfloor-heated surfaces.

For delicate or specialist flooring, check the flooring manufacturer's recommendations before use.

Care & Cleaning

WaterHog doormats are designed for easy everyday maintenance.

  • Regular cleaning: Shake outside, sweep or vacuum to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Machine washing: Machine washable in a suitably sized washing machine. Remove loose debris before washing and use a mild detergent.
  • Hand washing: Rinse with water and gently clean stubborn areas using a soft brush and mild detergent.
  • Drying: Allow the mat to air dry completely before putting it back in place.
  • Avoid: Bleach, harsh chemicals and petroleum-based cleaning products.

Periodically lift the mat to clean the floor underneath. Always ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before replacing it.
