The WaterHog Boxwood Doormat is made from durable recycled PET fibres with an anti-slip nitrile rubber backing.

Its distinctive bi-level construction features raised, textured fibres arranged in a flowing botanical pattern. These help remove dirt from footwear, allowing moisture and debris to collect within recessed channels beneath the surface.

The hard-wearing fibres are designed to retain their appearance through regular use, while the rubber backing provides grip and helps protect the flooring underneath.

Suitable for most common floor types, including tiles, hardwood, laminate, cork, screed, low-pile carpet and underfloor-heated floors.

For delicate or specialist flooring, check the flooring manufacturer's care recommendations before use.

Care & Cleaning

The WaterHog Boxwood Doormat is designed for straightforward cleaning and everyday maintenance.

  • Regular cleaning: Shake outside, sweep or vacuum to remove loose dirt, dust and debris.
  • Machine washing: Machine washable in a suitably sized washing machine. Remove loose debris before washing and use a mild detergent.
  • Hand washing: Rinse thoroughly with cold water using a garden hose. Gently clean stubborn areas with a soft brush and mild, non-bleach detergent.
  • Drying: Allow the mat to air dry completely, laid flat, before returning it to its usual position.
  • Avoid: Bleach, harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products.

Lift the mat periodically to clean and dry the floor underneath. Ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before replacing it.
