A little unexpected pattern for everyday spaces. The WaterHog Doormat Fingerprint takes its inspiration from the intricate lines of a fingerprint, with flowing, sculptural curves that bring texture and movement to entrances, hallways and contemporary interiors.

Made from recycled fibres, its distinctive raised surface does more than make a design statement. An innovative bi-level construction helps capture dirt, mud and moisture from footwear, allowing everyday debris to settle into the recessed channels rather than being carried further into your home. An anti-slip rubber backing helps keep the mat securely in place, even in busy entrances.

Available in four versatile shades, from warm Camel and Dark Brown to understated Grey and Charcoal, the Fingerprint Doormat pairs beautifully with natural wood, stone, concrete and minimalist interiors. Its organic pattern brings a softer contrast to clean architectural lines, making it equally suited to a front doorway, utility room or contemporary bathroom.

Manufactured in Europe, this durable, machine-washable doormat combines considered design with practical everyday performance, offering a distinctive alternative to the traditional entrance mat.

Materials & Construction

The WaterHog Fingerprint Doormat is constructed from durable recycled fibres with an anti-slip rubber backing.

Its innovative bi-level surface features raised, textured fibres arranged in an intricate fingerprint-inspired pattern. These help remove dirt from footwear, allowing moisture and debris to settle within the recessed channels beneath the surface.

The hard-wearing construction is designed to retain its appearance through regular use, while the rubber backing provides grip and helps protect the floor underneath.

Suitable for most common flooring types, including tiles, hardwood, laminate, cork, screed, low-pile carpet and underfloor-heated floors.

For delicate or specialist flooring, check the flooring manufacturer's care recommendations before use.

Care & Cleaning

The WaterHog Fingerprint Doormat is designed for easy everyday cleaning and maintenance.

  • Regular cleaning: Shake outside, sweep or vacuum to remove loose dirt, dust and debris.
  • Machine washing: Machine washable in a suitably sized washing machine.
  • Hand washing: Rinse thoroughly with cold water using a garden hose. Gently clean stubborn areas with a soft brush and mild, non-bleach cleaning product.
  • Drying: Allow the mat to air dry completely, laid flat, before returning it to its usual position.
  • Avoid: Bleach, harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products.

Lift the mat periodically to clean and dry the floor beneath. Ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before replacing it.
