A little more coverage for the places where life gets busy. The WaterHog Squares Runner brings together a classic geometric pattern and clever dirt-trapping construction, offering a practical, hard-wearing solution for hallways, entrances and utility rooms.

Its distinctive raised square pattern creates a subtle, textured finish while helping to capture dirt, mud and moisture from everyday footwear. Made from recycled fibres, the innovative bi-level surface allows debris and water to settle into recessed channels, helping to protect your floors from muddy footprints and the constant comings and goings of a busy household.

Measuring 55 × 150 cm, the long, narrow design is particularly well suited to entrance hallways, corridors and spaces where a conventional doormat doesn't provide quite enough coverage. An anti-slip rubber backing helps keep the runner securely in place, while five versatile colour options make it easy to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Manufactured in Europe, this durable, machine-washable hallway runner is designed for indoor and outdoor use, combining everyday practicality with an understated geometric design that feels at home in any space.

Materials & Construction

The WaterHog Squares Runner is made from durable recycled fibres with an anti-slip rubber backing.

Its innovative bi-level construction features a raised square pattern that helps scrape dirt from footwear, allowing moisture and debris to collect within the recessed channels beneath the surface.

The hard-wearing fibres are designed to retain their appearance with regular use, while the rubber backing provides grip and helps protect the floor underneath.

Suitable for most common flooring types, including tiles, hardwood, laminate, cork, screed, low-pile carpet and underfloor-heated floors.

For delicate or specialist flooring, check the flooring manufacturer's care recommendations before use.

Care & Cleaning

The WaterHog Squares Runner is designed for easy everyday cleaning and maintenance.

  • Regular cleaning: Shake outside, sweep or vacuum to remove loose dirt, dust and debris.
  • Machine washing: Machine washable in a suitably sized washing machine. Remove loose debris before washing and use a mild detergent.
  • Hand washing: Rinse with cold water using a garden hose. Gently clean stubborn areas using a soft brush and mild, non-bleach cleaning product.
  • Drying: Allow the runner to air dry completely, laid flat, before returning it to its usual position.
  • Avoid: Bleach and harsh or abrasive cleaning products.

Because of the runner's 150 cm length, check that it fits comfortably inside your washing machine before laundering. Hand washing may be more practical.

Lift the runner periodically to clean and dry the floor underneath. Ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before replacing it.
